I love Fordham and think it is a great admissions deal for those who want a selective university. It should be, it's far better than your two currently listed options. I'm sure that there are some who think that NYU and Barnard are for kids who couldn't get into Columbia and Fordham is for kids who couldn't get into NYU but you really should decide for yourself after thoroughly researching the programs you are interested in and visiting. If you can get into Columbia you absolutely have the numbers to go to a lower T-14 with a near-to-full ride, which is far better than Fordham for free.
